About Miyaji Kai Tax Office
Miyaji Kai Tax Office is a licensed tax accountant office in Meguro, Tokyo. We support foreign companies in Japan, from newly established subsidiaries to growing entities, with accounting, tax and group reporting.

Your outsourced finance partner in Japan
Most new Japan entities do not have their own finance team. We fill that gap: monthly bookkeeping or review, tax filings, reporting to your HQ, and answers to your HQ's questions, all handled by one licensed tax accountant.

We use Money Forward Cloud Accounting together with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to speed up routine work. Your monthly figures are ready sooner, and HQ does not have to wait for them.

Company questions rarely stop at tax. For company registration, social insurance and contracts, we work with partner judicial scriveners, labour and social security attorneys and lawyers. We brief them in Japanese on your behalf, so you do not have to deal with them directly.

Graduated from Meiji University and joined KPMG Tax Corporation, passing the Certified Public Tax Accountant examination the same year. Prepared tax returns for Japanese listed companies and Japanese subsidiaries of foreign companies, and advised on domestic and international tax. Also served small and medium-sized companies and high-net-worth individuals. Rose to Assistant Manager at KPMG.
Seconded from KPMG to the accounting department of a major Japanese telecommunications company as deputy section manager. Handled monthly and quarterly closing, statutory audits, consolidated tax returns and tax queries, and dealt with a tax audit by the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau.
Left KPMG and founded Miyaji Kai Tax Office. Built a fast-response practice using Money Forward, AI and IT tools, mainly serving start-ups and fast-growing companies.
How we communicateLanguage
We work in writing in English. If someone in your Japan team speaks Japanese, we are happy to hold online meetings with them in Japanese. Please note that we do not take meetings or phone calls in English.
