Fees for accounting and tax services in Japan
We disclose our fees upfront and agree the scope of work in writing before you engage us, so there are no unexpected charges later. Our fees are set on the basis that we work in English: there is no surcharge for English communication or English reports.
Price list
What a new subsidiary typically pays per year, including the year-end filing fee.
What moves the priceFactors
The number of bank accounts, cards, invoices and receipts determines how much bookkeeping and review work is needed each month.
Foreign currency transactions, intra-group charges and the number of tax issues to consider all add to the work, and to the impact of each judgement on your tax.
If we handle payroll, year-end adjustment and statutory reports, the number of employees and assignees affects the fee.
How often your HQ needs reports, in what format and by when affects the monthly and year-end workload.
We ask about these four points before we quote. The "from" amounts move up with them. We quote on the basis of the work involved, not on your revenue alone.
